Get to Know Dr. Holland Morrison

For over 20 years, Dr. Morrison has loved creating long-lasting, healthy smiles. It’s his passion to help our patients preserve their natural teeth as well as replace them with state-of-the-art dental implants when needed. As a periodontal specialist in Carrollton, Dr. Morrison enables our practice to offer a wider range of care so that you can consistently get the treatments you need in your home dental office.

Why Did You Decide to Become a Periodontist?

Dr. Morrison was initially drawn to dentistry because he liked the idea of restoring people’s smiles while ensuring they have a comfortable experience. He then discovered he was especially interested in the surgical aspect of the profession, which made focusing on periodontics a natural choice.

Where Did You Study Dentistry?

After graduating from Baylor University, Dr. Morrison attended the UT Houston Dental School for his DDS degree. He then earned his periodontics certificate as well as a Master of Science in Oral Biology from the Baylor College of Dentistry. Today, he is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, which allows him to stay on top of the latest breakthroughs in his field. 

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?

Most of Dr. Holland’s free time is dedicated to his wife, Shannon, and their four daughters (Skylar, Piper, Ramsey, and Kirby). When he isn’t running everyone between their various sports and activities, you’ll often find him golfing or playing guitar.
